Seaside Sauna is located in Point Hudson, right next door to the Commander’s Beach House, near downtown Port Townsend.

From Monroe St, turn into Point Hudson, just uphill from the skate park. Take your first left turn onto a gravel road at the SEA Marine boatyard (please drive slowly to keep down dust). Continue one block and take your first right turn into a large parking lot. Look towards the sea and you’ll find Seaside Sauna.

Alternatively, drive into Point Hudson and turn left after the RV Park. After the Commander’s Beach House, turn right and proceed into a large parking lot.

Free parking (up to 9 hours) is conveniently located directly behind Seaside Sauna.

You can do a drop-in Community Steam at $40 + tax.

A good way to sauna on the regular is with a punch pass. Consider purchasing a Sauna Punch Pass for discounted rates":

Metal gets hot in the sauna, so remove any metal jewelry and be sure your bathing suit doesn’t have big metal clasps/grommets.

There are no bathrooms onsite.

Bathrooms and coin-operated hot showers are a 2 minute walk away. 

Arrive clean, sit on a towel, bring a robe and slip-on shoes. Take off metal jewelry. Hydrate before, during and after your session.

Yep, bathing suits/sauna suits are required.

Think outside the box of regular swimsuits. Explore natural fibers. Merino wool is best, cotton and linen are good too.

The Airstream is the HQ of Seaside Sauna, housing a dressing room, cubbies, storage, and water dispenser, plus a sweet little boutique and my office.

Seaside Sauna operates during high tides and low tides.

In low tides, put on your water shoes and enjoy a short walk to the water. Or simply cool down in the garden lounge area. Do not chase birds or approach other wildlife.

Cancellations and refunds are possible up to 24 hours before arrival and can be done via your booking confirmation email.

Yes, to ensure we stay within capacity, all bookings need to be completed online. Occasionally, walk-ins or last minute bookings are possible.

Check with your doctor before taking a sauna if you have heart disease, or untreated low blood pressure. Pregnant women should not sauna.

Sauna sessions are reserved for kids 13 and up; although stay tuned for family-focused steam sessions that are open to all.
